Vancouver Lookout

The Vancouver Lookout is a skyscraper located in Vancouver's downtown. It offers a 360-degree view of the city and has a revolving restaurant at the top. It is one of the most recognizable landmarks and one of the tallest structures in the city.

The building has 28 floors excluding the observation tower, which develops in height above the main body for a total of 44 floors!

The Vancouver Lookout was opened in 1977 by Neil Armstrong, the event was commemorated by an imprint of Armstrong in concrete, but was lost during a renovation. The tower is equipped with panoramic elevators with transparent walls which takes 40 seconds to get from level to the top.

Directions:

  1. Turn right out of the hostel and walk down Granville St until W Hastings and Granville St.
  2. Turn right onto W Hastings St and you'll see it on your left.
